Let me build your AI helpers and automations, then teach you to run them

About

Taylor Fox

B.A. · M.Ed. · M.A. · Ed.D. Candidate

I have been building websites since MySpace. For years it was something I did for friends, or for a small business that heard about me from someone I had helped. When AI tools arrived, I started building with them for the same reason: I wanted to understand how they work.

Watching small businesses over the last few years, I kept seeing the same squeeze. The owner has more work than one person can handle, and not quite enough to hire anyone. AI can carry a lot of that work. The tools are there. For most owners, they are not yet within reach: nobody has built them for that business, and nobody has shown the owner how to run them.

That is the work I do. I help you find your brand in your own words, build the business and online presence around it, set up AI for the jobs you repeat every week, and then teach you to run all of it.

The teaching is the part I am best at. I am a teacher by trade, and I also run Fox Curriculum, my curriculum and educational consulting practice. I know how to break a hard idea into steps, how much practice it takes before something sticks, and how to start from what you already know instead of what I assume you know. Whether you have never opened an AI tool or use one every day, your lessons are built for you.

Theater taught me the rest. A brand is a story, and how it is presented decides whether anyone stays to hear it.

Fox is my last name. An imprint is the mark something leaves. This is mine, on work that belongs to you. When I hand it over, every account is in your name, and I no longer have access to any of it.

Education

  1. Now

    Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction

I am in the dissertation phase, researching why AP World History exam results vary from year to year when the course itself does not.

  2. 2024

M.A. in Education-Teaching, Alliant International University

Earned with my California teaching credential, which I later cleared through two years of mentored classroom research.

  3. 2016

M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, Concordia University Portland

My thesis on sheltered instruction for English Language Learners asked a question I still ask: what does it take to design learning for people a system was not built to serve?

  4. 2014

    B.A. in History, Anderson University

Senior thesis: Civilian Perceptions of Military Life. As a lecture assistant my senior year, I built and taught the first-year seminar for incoming students.

Ten years of teaching

I started as a traveling substitute across San Diego, teaching grades 6 through 12 in every kind of school, from the most affluent campuses to the most under-resourced. That range taught me to hold the same high standard while building a different path to it for each room.

Then I taught AP US History and AP European History at Gompers Preparatory Academy. At The Rock Academy I was AP History Lead and Director of 7-12 Performing Arts, a department head who taught AP World and AP US History and directed full-length musicals alongside a full teaching load. Over the years I directed nine musicals, at every level from elementary school to high school.

Building curriculum

Most of those years I was also building the courses I taught. I led the AP History program at The Rock Academy, and I built a UC a-g digital music course out of my own voice and theory training. Today I also run Fox Curriculum, where I offer curriculum development, AI integration, and educational research, and keep asking whether what gets designed to teach something actually teaches it.

How that led here

Teaching showed me how people actually learn to run something: one step at a time, at their own level, with the steps written down and practice built in. Curriculum work taught me to design the sequence before anything gets built. When AI arrived, I watched small business owners get handed powerful tools that nobody had taught them to use.

Fox Imprint puts those two jobs together. I build the business and its AI helpers, then I teach you to run them. By the third performance of my last musical, I could stand in the booth with my headset on and say nothing, because the students ran the whole show themselves. That is the handoff I design every project toward.

Who I am not the right fit for

Book a free scope call
  • You want it run for you, for good.

I hand everything over, so you need to want to learn it.

  • A week of silence is normal for you.

The work moves at the speed of your replies, and long gaps break the timeline.

  • You would rather not touch new tools.

You don't need to know them yet. You do need to be willing to learn.

  • Your mission is one I can't stand behind.

    I turn that work down.
